| I was at Batley WMC on Friday night to see Dean, it was a good night....no it was an excellent night! Nostalgia at it's very best. Anyone who hasn't seen the show should make every effort, you wont be dissapointed! First class! I'll definately be going again, soon. Steve Fish, Billy Fury Fan Dean’s Tribute To Billy Fury. It’s great to walk into a very busy club in these days of uncertainty; Carlton Club near Rothwell was packed to the doors on Friday night for the club’s Star Night which on this occasion was Dean Hubert’s tribute show to the late Billy Fury. Dean, who is half of top duo Two Steps Forward, has worked extremely hard to put the show together. I arrived at the club in time for the second half of the show. The lights, (operated by Dean’s wife Jane) are magnificent and add atmosphere to the performance; the sound is top class and the image is superb. Dean sang all the songs that everyone associates with Billy fury; there were lots of people, young and old singing along. Lots of Dean’s family and friends were there supporting him. Ex Clubland star Bartholomew was in the audience and was enjoying In Thoughts Of You, When Will You Say I Love You and Halfway To Paradise. Every song was sung with great feeling. Look out for Dean Hubert’s tribute to Billy Fury. Entertainment, Wakefield Guardian Hi Dean, What a fantastic night we had last Friday. Your show was one of the best we have had. Regards Paul Kew Carlton WMC The Billy Fury Memories show is a well researched and authentically reproduced tribute to the legendary Billy Fury Les. Turfrey Editor, West Riding Review Dean Hubert gave a terrific performance on Friday night when he appeared as Ronnie Wycherley better known as Billy Fury at a very busy Fern House Club. Dean has done a tremendous amount of work searching for the songs and the backing tracks, the outfits and even the hairstyle. Wondrous Place, When Will You Say I Love You, Collette and more of the songs that Billy Fury made his own. Wakefield Guardian The show is something different and unique and brings in the crowds; it most certainly worked at Fern House. I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the show and the second half is even better as all Billy Fury’s big songs were featured, Like I’ve Never Been Gone was appropriate, Jealousy, It’s Only Make Believe and the one that really ought have been a number one, Halfway To Paradise.
